What is RSS … and what can I do with it?

RSS is an easy way to check websites for updates without having to visit them all. Lots of personal portal websites such as My Yahoo!, My MSN and My AOL allow you to add the 'news headlines' from your favorite sites using their RSS feeds. You can also use online feed readers such as GoogleReader or Bloglines, or you can view RSS feeds through some web browsers.
