What is RSS and what can I do with it?
RSS is an easy way to check websites for updates without having to visit them all. Lots of personal portal websites such as My Yahoo!, My MSN and My AOL allow you to add the 'news headlines' from your favorite sites using their RSS feeds. You can also use online feed readers such as GoogleReader or Bloglines, or you can view RSS feeds through some web browsers.

Adding our new book alerts to your personal portal page
If you're a My Yahoo! user then you can click the "+ MY YAHOO!" button (illustrated on the left) to instantly add our new book alerts to your My Yahoo! page.
If you're a My MSN user then you can click the "MY MSN +" button (illustrated on the left) to instantly add our new book alerts to your My MSN page.
If you're a My AOL user then you can click the "+ MY AOL" button (illustrated on the left) to instantly add our new book alerts to your My AOL page.
Adding our new book alerts to your web news-reader
If you're a GoogleReader user then you can click the "+ GoogleReader" button (illustrated on the left) to instantly add our new book alerts to your GoogleReader page.
If you're a Bloglines user then you can click the "Sub Bloglines" button (illustrated on the left) to instantly add our new book alerts to your Bloglines page.
If you're a NewsGator user then you can click the "+ newsgator" button (illustrated on the left) to instantly add our new book alerts to your NewsGator feeds.
If you're a Rojo user then you can click the "+ Rojo" button (illustrated on the left) to instantly add our new book alerts to your Rojo feeds.
Adding our new book alerts to your browser-based RSS Reader
If you are using the latest version of one of the more popular web browser (e.g. Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera),
clicking on any of the
buttons below will present you with options for
subscribing to our feed.
Simply click the RSS button (illustrated on the left) and Firefox will display the contents of the feed. Click "Subscribe now", and Firefox will create a folder of our new book alerts in your Bookmarks.
Open the Sage sidebar (click Tools and Sage, or press Alt+S) and then either drag the RSS button (illustrated on the left) into your feed list, then click the link to load the feed, or click the magnifying glass icon to search for feeds.
Simply click the RSS button (illustrated on the left) and Opera will open the feed and ask you if you want to Subscribe to it choose "Yes". You can read your subscribed feeds in Opera by clicking on Feeds then Read Feeds.
Click the blue RSS icon in the address bar and Safari automatically displays any available RSS feed for the current site. Then bookmark the RSS feed so you can return to it later. Safari tells you when your bookmarked feeds are updated with new articles, so you get the latest news without repeatedly refreshing sites.
Simply click the RSS button (illustrated on the left) and Internet Explorer will display the contents of the feed. Click "Subscribe to this feed" to add it to your favorites.
